As stunningly diverse as its predecessors 'New Creation' has a mix of deep dubs, funky instrumentals and soulful vocals all wrapped around brilliant live playing and not a drum machine in sight!

Likke Mai and Ao Inoue have both matured into fine vocalists drawing on their obvious Jamaican influences while still managing to remain totally original and have worked with just about everyone from Primal Scream to ADF.

Having acquired all of their previous releases and been thouroughly impressed, Dry and Heavy release New Creation. There's a history of dodgy covers done by various bands however Riders Version does not dissapoint. Heavy dub indeed. Likke Mai lets rip on the Right Track, which may come out somewhat 'Engrish' with Kig Tubby references coming think and fast. Right Track dub on the 12" release is smokey number with all that bass right up front. Overall this a solid effort but is nothing compared to their live show. They simply blew everyone away in Auckland New Zealand recently. Totally wicked!
