Information
The twenty ninth release on Pressure Sounds, 'El Rocker's', features one of the greatest of Jamaica's musicians/producers: Augustus Pablo and this is one of the first major re-issues since Pablo's untimely death last year.

'El Rocker's' focuses on the rhythms and tunes that were used to make up the epochal 'King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown' album. Consisting of seventeen tunes - all rare alternate cuts and hard to find gems - and no Pablo aficionado's collection will complete without this album.

Tastefully packaged with a twelve page booklet with the CD and a special insert on the vinyl featuring probably the best sleevenotes on the artist that we personally have ever seen. This album is so strong that it practically walks out of the record shop!

Worthy companion to "Rockers Uptown"

This is an essential CD as a companion to the seminal "King Tubby meets the Rockers Uptown", as the CD contains alternate takes (many from rare 7"s) of the cuts on that album. Highly recommended.

High Ranking Pablo

This is an absolutely stunning collection of heavy heavy killers from the great Augustus Pablo!
The booklet is excellent and the music is to die for! Whether you're a Pablo fanatic or just a reggae and dub-lover, you can't live without this one!
If you don't believe me: try the audio clips and see (hear) for yourselves!
